About Seaweed

Seaweed has shown to demonstrate beneficial effects on cholesterol. It has antioxidants and fiber as well as some other beneficial nutrients. Nori seaweed in particular seems to be the most effective in reducing high cholesterol (Bocanegra et al., 2009; Olivero-David et al., 2011). That being said, evidence for seaweed's efficacy is scarcer than the other foods recommended.
